TIACA’s links in Asia continue to grow

TIACA’s links in Asia continue to grow

In the 18 May issue of Friday Flyer, I started sharing my impressions about Air Cargo China (ACC).

Since then several articles in the professional press gave a comprehensive account, providing a good reading.

I want to tell you about the event which preceded the ACC – a conference by the Neutral Air Partner (NAP) organization.

NAP was founded recently in Hong Kong by a group of air cargo entrepreneurs.

The network presently consists of 190 air cargo specialists from 85 countries, placing the group as one of the largest of air cargo providers worldwide, in terms of tonnage and revenue.

NAP represents a wide range of stakeholders – air cargo supply chain air cargo consolidators, master loaders, GSAs and wholesalers, charter brokers, express and time critical service firms, and commodity experts.

The well-developed conference agenda was based on important, modern issues and was complemented by customized face-to-face meetings in which TIACA actively participated.

The interest developed on both sides. NAP decided to apply as a corporate member to TIACA.

Christos Spyrou, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of NAP, declared that NAP’s ambition was to become the world’s most powerful grouping of leading and independent air cargo architects.

The commonality in objectives is there. TIACA is adding yet another partner to its chain – this one just started an intensive marketing campaign in Asia, the region we are also actively developing.
