Senior members of the TIACA Board are heading to Munich this week to attend Air Cargo Europe.
With more than 60,000 visitors expected from more than 100 countries, the event is one of the largest gatherings of the global air freight community.
Sebastiaan Scholte, TIACA’s Chairman, is looking forward to the opportunity to meet customers and suppliers, but also to be able to catch up with old friends.
“It is a great event at which to meet everybody, not only people from the air cargo industry, but from other logistics sectors as well,” said Scholte.
Steven Polmans, Vice Chairman of the TIACA Board and Director Cargo and Logistics at Brussels Airport Company, is anticipating a busy few days.
“It’s an ideal place to network but a combination of many meetings and our Belgian Beer bar as a booth is always a guarantee that the days will fly by!” said Polmans.
Joking aside, Polmans said the size and pulling power of the event is one of the reasons that TIACA recently chose to work with Messe Munchen, the organisers of Air Cargo Europe.
Messe München will be organising the Air Cargo Forum in Miami for TIACA in 2020.
