Network Airline Management Transports Tons of Flowers to Help Celebrate International Mother’s Day 2021
Network Airline Management transports over 1000 tons of freshly cut flowers in the run up to International Mother’s Day from Nairobi, Kenya into Europe, to help show the love for all the Mothers out there this year!
Network has a great working relationship with Kenya’s horticulture industry for over 30 years, which continues again this year. The 2021 schedule saw 4 B747 Freighter flights operate each week as well as an extra flight to fulfil this year’s demand.
Network’s Nairobi office oversees the complete operation with each aircraft loaded to max payload with 100 tonnes of fresh-cut flowers bound for Liege, including Roses and Carnations, ready for onward trucking across Europe into various destinations such as Berlin, Copenhagen and Helsinki.
Sam Lindsey, Senior Commercial Manager of Network Airline Management said, “We are pleased to have successfully supported our key clients during the International Mother’s Day rush and are extremely happy to maintain our role in supporting the Kenyan flower industry.”
