As the CEO of Transom, the biggest aviation service provider in the Sultanate of Oman, I am
responsible to lead a holding company under which 5 subsidiaries provide hospitality and
logistics services. The businesses cover ground handling services, catering (both aviation and
non-aviation), cargo operations, retail services and a hospitality business, The company
constitutes of almost 4000 direct employees and an additional 1000 outsourced labour forces.
The company has embarked on a transformation journey executing the value creation strategy,
which aims at business diversification and financial sustainability in a challenging, even though
continuously growing environment. The key activity at the starting point is to steer the group
through the COVID-19 pandemic and the massive impact it has on the aviation industry.
