Halifax, NS—Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) invites members of the media to join us for the grand opening of our new International Connections Facility, including our reimagined International Arrivals space, which centres on Mi’kmaq art and culture.

The event will include formal remarks and a tour of the new space. Please note that the tour component of the event will take place in a secure area, so media must confirm their attendance by 3:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026 to jessica.kinney@halifaxstanfield.ca.
