October 24, 2025

LATAM Cargo Group and its subsidiaries were named “Air Cargo Airline of the Year 2025” by the British publication Air Cargo News, one of the most prestigious and recognized media outlets in the global air cargo industry. With this distinction, LATAM becomes the only South American winner across all categories, reaffirming its position as the region’s leading air cargo carrier.

The award, presented at the annual ceremony held in London, recognizes airlines that stand out for their operational performance, innovation, customer service, and contribution to the development of the air cargo industry.

“This recognition is a testament to the trust our customers place in us and to the commitment of our teams. At LATAM, excellence is built day by day: we challenge the status quo and drive innovation in everything we do. We will continue working to grow alongside our customers, strengthening our connectivity, reliability, and efficiency, and offering solutions that drive the development of the markets we serve,” said Andrés Bianchi, CEO of LATAM Cargo Group.

LATAM was particularly recognized for the significant achievements accomplished over the past year, including a major fleet expansion that brought its total to 20 Boeing 767 freighters, representing a 70% increase in cargo capacity since 2019. The group also modernized key cargo hubs in Miami, Santiago, Medellín, and Quito, enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Over the last year, LATAM Cargo Group and its subsidiaries have achieved record levels of connectivity between South America and Europe, consolidating their position as the leading operator between the two continents with 15 weekly frequencies. The group also strengthened its leadership in routes between North and South America, offering customers the broadest network of destinations in the region with faster and more reliable delivery times. Furthermore, LATAM maintained a stable performance in its domestic cargo markets — Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru — underscoring its ongoing commitment to the communities it serves.

LATAM Cargo Group and its subsidiaries reported revenues of USD 1.67 billion for the last twelve months ended in June 2025. This strong financial performance reinforces their leadership in air cargo transportation to, from, and within South America.

Meanwhile, the group’s cargo affiliates have shown sustained growth in their Net Promoter Score (NPS), reflecting LATAM’s continuous efforts to enhance customer experience and deliver an increasingly reliable and efficient service.
