LATAM Cargo Group Strengthens its Cargo Operation from Brussels to Buenos Aires with Increased Frequencies

September 17, 2025

  • Starting in October, the company will go from two to four weekly flights, reinforcing its offering in a strategic market for key industries such as pharmaceuticals and automotive.

September 17, 2025 – LATAM Cargo Group and its subsidiaries announced the expansion of their cargo operation between Europe and Argentina with an increase in frequencies on the Brussels–Buenos Aires route. From October, the company will offer four weekly flights, doubling its current capacity.

The decision responds to the sustained growth in demand and the strategic role Argentina plays in international trade, particularly for high-value sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, and consolidated general cargo. Until now, part of this flow relied on indirect connections; with the increase, LATAM Cargo provides a more direct, reliable, and flexible alternative for its customers.

“With this growth, LATAM Cargo consolidates itself as one of the few operators offering frequent, direct cargo flights between Europe and Buenos Aires, delivering a competitive and reliable value proposition for sensitive shipments such as pharmaceutical products,” said Matías Cortina, Commercial Director for Cargo Europe at LATAM Airlines Group.

With the new operations, the company expects to transport between 80 and 100 tons weekly, strengthening connectivity between both continents. In addition, spreading the four frequencies across the week will allow customers to plan their shipments more flexibly, ensuring more stable and predictable supply chains.

This announcement is part of the group’s expansion plan on the Europe–South America axis, which includes an increase to 15 weekly frequencies in both directions, consolidating LATAM Cargo’s position as a strategic partner in the development of international trade.
