TIACA Calls for Nominations for 2026 Hall of Fame Award
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Miami, January 22, 2026
The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) today announced the official call for nominations for the 2026 TIACA Hall of Fame Award, inviting the global air cargo and logistics community to put forward outstanding individuals whose careers have left a lasting and positive impact on the industry.
The TIACA Hall of Fame is the only global air cargo and logistics recognition programdedicated to honoring leaders who have inspired progress, driven innovation, and shaped the industry across air, land, and sea. The program is hosted by the TIACA Chairmans Council, comprised of all former TIACA Chairpersons, and is not available for sponsorship
“The TIACA Hall of Fame represents the very best of our industry, those individuals whose leadership, vision, and commitment have created meaningful and enduring change,” said Roos Bakker, TIACA Chair. “We encourage the entire global cargo community to take part in this process by nominating the leaders who have inspired them and helped move our industry forward.”
The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have demonstrated global or regional influence through innovation, leadership, advocacy, education, and the creation of opportunities that strengthen businesses, communities, and the future workforce. Nominees may come from any sector of the air cargo and logistics ecosystem, provided they meet the program’s eligibility and nomination criteria.
“This award is about recognizing impact over a lifetime, not a single achievement,” said Glyn Hughes, TIACA Director General. “The Hall of Fame shines a light on those who have challenged the status quo, championed progress, and helped define the modern air cargo and logistics industry.”
Nominations may be submitted by individuals or organizations, with supporting documentation that clearly demonstrates the nominee’s contribution and influence.
The nomination period for the 2026 TIACA Hall of Fame Award will run until March 16, 2026. Following the close of nominations, candidates will be reviewed through a structured evaluation and digital voting process by the TIACA Executive Committee and the Hall of Fame Jury, which includes representatives from the TIACA Board and Chairmans Council.
The 2026 Hall of Fame inductee will be formally honored during the TIACA Executive Summit, in Warsaw, Poland, June 1-3, 2026.
Nominations for all TIACA Air Cargo Leadership Awards are open to the entire global air cargo community. Full details on eligibility, award categories, and submission guidelines are available on the TIACA website www.tiaca.org
