The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) is pleased to announce that Roos Bakker, Manager Business Development and Contract Management at CTSN, will be the next TIACA Chair, leading the Association for the 2026-2027 period. Roos has served as one of two Vice Chairs, together with Emir Pineda, Director, Marketing & Air Service Development Division, Miami International Airport, for the past two years.

Glyn H., Director General TIACA said, “Globally, 72 per cent of companies are prioritizing energy efficiency to decarbonize operations and reduce costs.”

Air cargo association TIACA saw both its membership numbers and revenues rise last year.

During a webinar to update on the latest developments at the association, director general Glyn Hughes said TIACA had welcomed a total of 33 new members in 2024, bringing its total membership numbers to 480 companies and organizations.
