Topic: Corporate Security requirements of the US Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program.
Description: The course provides comprehensive training on the Security Vision and Responsibility, Risk Assessment, Business Partners, and Cybersecurity sections of the Minimum-Security Criteria (MSC 1-4). Participants will learn about the CTPAT requirements, and the evidence needed to efficiently demonstrate compliance with corporate security and overall policy criteria.
This includes the following.
- Security Vision and Responsibility: the role of leadership in promoting a culture of security, the importance of a secure supply chain, and employee responsibilities.
- Risk Assessment: guidance on performing a thorough risk assessment, identifying potential threats, mitigation strategies, documentation, and continuous monitoring.
- Business Partners: best practices on business partner screening, requirements, monitoring, and effective collaboration.
- Cybersecurity: understanding cyber threats, the impact of cyber-attacks on supply chains, and strengthening cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with requirements.
